I found the answer to my questions. The solution was to use Image Format = SVG instead of the default PNG. It works like a charm now.

We have slightly change the use of simple quote.

Now it can only be used if the whole line is a comment.

But you can use /'xxxx'/ syntax which works either at the begin or at the end of the line.

To work around the _ counting a letter replace it with a unicode "LOW LINE" character, like this:

Shift of images in pdf manual (8008)

I had a closer look at the diagrams in the manual (8008):
-page 6/7: here a diagram is split in 3 parts by means of newpage, but only the first of the 3 images is displayed together with the images of the next 2 paragraphs. This results in a shift of the next (all?) images upward.
I stopped checking the version, in HTML this looks OK.

There is always a discussion about grey and gray in respect to colors. In the table on page 101 most colors are defined as "gray" except "LightGrey". Also on page 83 the color "grey" is used. Is this correct?

I would expect that the resulting first and third image would be identical, but the second and the third resulting image are identical. Looks like the define for SHOW_METHODS is propagated to the third image.
