Does PlantUML online server no longer support `http:` image references?

The C4 Readme contains some samples with images referenced via `http:` instead of `https:`.
Previously, the old online server displayed these images without any problems.
The new/current online server reports a "Cannot decode: http://...." error. Is this intentional?
