Is there any ad-hoc method to make PlantUML work in Confluence Data Center?

I know that PlantUML is not officially supported in Confluence Data Center.

But is there any ad-hoc method to get it to work in Data center?

PlantUML depends on graphviz, which also says it doesn't run officially in Data Center.

Or is my ONLY method for generating UML diagrams inside of Confluence is by using Visio packages like Gliffy or draw.io?

Doing a Google search for plantuml confluence gave some hits regarding a plugin, maybe it it only running in certain parts and not in the Data Center, but I don't know (and cannot test it either).
