PlantUml code to mxgraph json

Question

Is there a simple way to convert a component diagram iuml into mxgraph (https://jgraph.github.io/mxgraph/) json format?

Or, may be, plantuml library can return an output as a json or other object (like clean xml)?

as for xmi, it is declared, that: "This is only working with class diagrams.", as well not sure if the format is suitable for mxgraph. So, if there is a way to output as json (preferably mxgraph scheme), would be nice
