Does PlantUML use / refer to OMG UML2.5 spec to align with the standard?

I see some differences, e.g.
1) In a class, UML specifies writing the attributes and methods as name followed by their type. PlantUML does it the other way round.
2) Using C, I, E etc. for class, interface, enumeration.
