Why contentScriptType="application/ecmascript"

In the svg file generated we use the tag contentScriptType="application/ecmascript".

According to the source below this tag is not needed contentScriptType="application/ecmascript".

This makes the svg file generated marked as a security vulnerability. Is it adding anything to the output?
