is there a "compact" timing diagram?

There was discussion on one of my previous questions about a "compact" view of the timing diagram where the signal name is left justified and inline with the graphed line instead of above the signal, and the bold horizontal rule that separates each signal in a graph was removed. This would add a lot more compactness to a diagram when needed.

original question. Comments at the bottom.

This tool is what I've been looking for a very long time. Thanks so much for your work :)

Just one question, is it possible to insert some space and/or captions between the waveforms?

Thanks, but for me, it would have needed a 3rd keyword "compact" in addition to "robust" and "concise". With a mode, it is not possible to mix

I noticed that the signal name is not displayed in your last rendering, I also noticed that the signal name for binary signals take the abbreviation instead of the name in quotes. Some consistency would be nice.

Thanks for the report.

We've fixed both issue in last beta http://beta.plantuml.net/plantuml.jar and on the online server.

We are not 100% satisfied by the result, so any feedback is welcome !
