Is PLANTUML_LIMIT_SIZE needed with PlanUML plugin for confluence?

Hi,

I had diagrams that I created on plantuml.com that were cropped because they were too tall or too wide.

We installed the plantUML plugin in our confluence PROD server. At that time, we didn't add the set PLANTUML_LIMIT_SIZE=8192 variable as instructed in the FAQ.

Then I started to migrate my diagram from plantUML to our confluence server. the bigger diagrams display entirely in Confluence.

Is this expected?

In what (system/environment) circumstances do we use PLANTUML_LIMIT_SIZE=8192?

PS: we did add the variable in our Confluence lab environment, tested one large diagram, extracted the PNG file and it appears the picture is the exact size and resolution than that of our prod environment.
