I am using the Word Add-in with tool bar along with Office 2007 and get a syntax error when using the following:

Box “Hunter UAV” #gainsboro

  Participant PIU

  Participant AVSM

End box

This worked before I moved to the Word Add-in with tool bar. Am I missing something in my set up? I can do sequence diagrams. I also have the same issue with Office 2013. I do not have access to Office 2010 to see if it works.

Hello,

It's very likely to be caused by the quote (”), that are not standard quote (").

Which version of PlantUML are you using ?

@startuml
version
@enduml

Last version should handle correctly all differents quotes type.

I updated to the latest version as you suggested and it looks like all is good now. I had a version from November 2013 for my plantuml.jar. I had updated to the new Word template changes, but neglected to update plantuml.jar. Thanks for your help!
