Dear Sir,

I want to know the version of the VBA code which should be intgrated into MS Word, is it GPL or LGPL or it has no license.

If it has a license then I added some other functionalities calls to not related PlantUML code but the changes exist inside it, do I forced to provide these changes to public?

Thanks.

Hello,

Today, the VBA code is GPL or LGPL.

But the code (of the VBA Word Plugin) is so simple, that we will probably propose another license. Do you have any suggestion ?

I suggest to make it free without any restrictions so the users of the PlantUML can intgrate it inside their macros (their VBA code) without any restrictions.

Hello,

A new release (PlantUML_V007.bas on http://plantuml.sourceforge.net/download.html) has been released, under the GNU All-Permissive License
(http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/License-Notices-for-Other-Files.html)

Copying and distribution of this file, with or without modification,
are permitted in any medium without royalty provided the copyright
notice and this notice are preserved.  This file is offered as-is,
without any warranty.

I think it's ok for you. Note that this is ONLY for the Word Plugin (ie PlantUML_V007.bas), and not for PlantUML librairy, which remains under GPL/LGPL only.
