Clarify supported versions

Hello,

The version stack is all very confusing to me, perhaps someone can clarify?

It is interesting that I should be able to embed UML diagrams in my OpenOffice documents. That's a compelling want to have. But it doesn't seem to work.

I've installed it, and have the menu of UML.*, etc. Fine there.

I create a new blank document and insert some test text. Click UML.*. A plantuml.txt is saved, but I do not get an image. Unless there is another step I need to take to insert said image?

My environment is this:

Windows 7 x64

JRE/JDK 1.8.0_60 / both installed, but I think OpenOffice wants the JRE6/7 from alternate sources, either in Program Files (x86) or from a prior (?) JRE6/7 location, I cannot be sure why. Attempts to inform OpenOffice of the 1.8 locations are met with OO rejection.

OpenOffice 4.1.0 / more precisely AOO410m18(Build:9764)  -  Rev. 1589052; 2014-04-22 11:43:54 (Di, 22 Apr 2014)

As stated I've at least got the menu showing so I believe I am doing something right. Though likely we're talking about an issue with supported versions of JRE, but I cannot be certain.

Edit: This just in: did some experimenting also, using the "install ODT document", and it seems that the add-in also takes liberties with what I consider non-UML related images between the * and ! clicks. OUCH! Probably unintented, but a bug nonetheless. Would be great if these could somehow be cataloged and not work with unknown images.

Thank you...
