Nested component with ports on the external boundary

Hi!

Thanks for a great tool!

A feature that i really miss is the possibility to add ports to the boundary of a component with sub components inside.

This is a good example, with ports on the external boundery.

Although this is an old post, I would also really love to see this feature. Is it possible in the newer versions of plantUML?

Sorry, this is still not possible.
This would need to create a brand new layout engine in replacement of GraphViz, which means a lot of works.
