This is not a question, rather it's an answer to a question that nobody has asked.
I've made PlantUML available as a standard javadoc taglet. The javadoc integrations referenced here all require that you use a specific doclet. My taglet works with the standard doclet from the JDK. While the initial motivation was to refactor an existing doclet, the independant taglet that resulted from this effort may be generally useful if you are bound to the standard doclet for some reason.
