Hyperlinks - Local files

How do i create hyperlink to local files in PlantUML?

I tried with file:///filepath/filename but it does not easm to work. Maybe i am doing something incorrect.

Is this the same issue as  http://plantuml.sourceforge.net/qa/?qa=6128/link-url-for-file-is-not-working-properly-in-class-diagram ?
