No Dot executable found. Cannot find Graphiz

Question

I am totally new to Visual Studio Code, and I just installed it in order to the install plantUml.

I followed online directions to install both, and now it won't work as expected because I get the error "No Dot Executable Found.  Cannot find Graphiz."

Since I have never used VS Code before, I have no idea what to do to fix this.

I have tested it with known good PlantUML code and I still get this error.

• What are really your problem?

In order to use plantuml.jar, a possible requirements are:

You need these things to run PlantUML:

• Java
• Graphviz (optional if you only need sequence diagrams and activity (beta) diagrams)

I instaled Graphviz according to this instruction.
