Gantt: Pause tasks for some period / Resource availability

asked Sep 21, 2020 in Question / help by anonymous
Hi,

is there any possiblity to give a range to the "pauses" command of tasks? I only found it for weekday or special dates?!

Basically I want to have the availability of my resources shown by a "Task" or is there any other possibility to define the availability of resources? (like "0%" assignment to see who is able to take over tasks)

Thx in advance,

kennmi

Thanks for the suggestion. With last beta http://beta.plantuml.net/plantuml.jar you can now have:

@startgantt
Project starts the 5th of december 2018
[Prototype design] lasts 17 days
[Prototype design] pauses from 2018/12/13 to 2018/12/19
@endgantt

Is this what you are looking for ?

Gr8, thx. Can work with that.
Second thing may also be fine:
Currently I'm assigning resources from project start to end with some days off, but percentage is only shown if a task is assigned then. May you can show e. G. 0% if the resources are available but nothing assigned yet?
Thx in advance.

Gr8t, I was looking for this too.

Would it be possible to document it?

Just FYI, that is just already documented here:

If that is OK for you...

Regards.
