Question

The rendering mechanism depends on an external server that requires access to the internet.

So if I have a private domain which disables all internet access for security reasons, the plantuml failed to render the diagram as it requires access to plantuml server.

Is there any way that I can make this process locally without a need to go outside my private machine?

• You can use the docker version https://hub.docker.com/r/plantuml/plantuml-server
• You can install the servlet. https://github.com/plantuml/plantuml-server
• There is even a pico web server https://plantuml.com/en/picoweb
