Is it possible to include timer symbols in Sequence diagrams

Hello,

 

I wanted timers symbols to be implemented in the sequence diagrams and lets say its syntax will be:

Timer Start : text of the timer

Timer Stop : Text of the timer

Timer Expired:Text of the timer

 

I think by adding this ability to the Sequence charting ability will be great.

By any chance, do you have a mock-up of a sequence diagrams with timers?

Have you considered using sprites for timer symbols ?
