Is it possible to add a text to the starting and end point?

Hi,

in an activity or state diagram we have the starting and the end point:

[*]

Is it possible to add a text?

Example:

MyStart * ---->  state 1 ----> state 2 ----> * MyGoal

Without notes. As the text beside an arrow.

I could not find an example.
