Aren't those two links identical?

Not really - one is an L-shaped arrow (which is what I am trying to achieve), the other one is shaped like digital 2 (which I am trying to avoid).

Hello L.,

  • Could you post some examples?

Do you think of that:

CodeOutput
@startuml
printscale weekly

Project starts the 1st of january 2021
[Prototype design end] as [TASK1] lasts 40 days
then [Testing] lasts 30 days
@enduml
@startuml
printscale monthly

Project starts the 1st of january 2021
[ Prototype design end] as [TASK1] lasts 40 days
then [Testing] lasts 30 days
@enduml

It seems depend of the printscale or projectscale...

If that can help,
Regards.

Hi The-Lu,

Yes, your examples perfectly describe what I meant.

I do agree, the display changes with the scale.

Would there be a way to have the arrow from the first example with monthly and quarterly scale as well?

Regards.

I would also love to see consistent arrow routing at the "monthly" scale. The clean "down then right" arrow is replaced by the convoluted "2" arrow when you go to monthly scale. If there is any fix, please let me know!
