Gantt diagram - can we hide closed dates?

Is it possible to completely hide the closed dates?

For example if I have Saturdays and Sundays closed I don't want them to show on the diagram at all.

I have tried to set the background to transparent but it I guess correctly shows the colour of the background itself (i.e. not the task).

Another acceptable solution would be to allow the closed days to not change the diagram at all. So the days are still listed but the background colour of the tasks that run through them remain solid through the closed days.

Is this the right place to 'vote' for this feature request? While I love the gantt functionality provided by PlantUML, hiding certain closed days (like weekends) will help me deliver charts which are more parseable by my director and VP.
