gantt-Project starts 100-07-01 failed

For gantt, when use the year before 1000, it failed.

With last snapshot, you can have:

Project starts 72-06-01.
printscale quarterly
[Construction of the Colosseum in Rome] starts 72-06-01 and requires 2920 days.

I am not 100% sure about the actual starting date.

I know gantt chart is for project management. But I am using Gantt to learn history. ex, to mark the a war when it started and ended, or a historical event. Graph is better than text.

So it would be better if gantt can support the years BC.
