Word Integration Problem

I installed the Word template, but when I try to generate sequence diagrams, I get a "Java Timeout. Aborted." error.

The green boxes appear, text is formatted, and temporary files are created, but no diagrams are produced.  I've searched and have not found any reference to this error.

This is with Word 2013.

Hoping someone can help.

I am having same problem with word 2013. Upon trying to generate diagram using word plugin it shows "Java Timeout.Aborted.  I've also tried all different versions of the JRE as mentioned in below responses. It didnt worked yet :-(.

Have the same issue with Word 2010 on Windows 7, using JRE 1.8. Please post the solution here if you know. Thanks!

Have the same issue with Word 2010 14.0.7151.5001 (32 bits) on Windows 7, using JRE 1.8.0.51 and GraphViz 2.38. Other similar configurations are working which is strange, anybody knows where it comes from ? Please post the solution here if you know. Thanks!

I had the same problem. Probably Java 1.8 is the problem. I uninstalled it (now 1.7 should be used) and it's working fine now.

I'm using Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_03-b05), but it does show the same error on Win 7 with Word 2010.

Have the same issue with Word 2016 + JRE 1.8. The problem disappear after removal of JRE 1.8 and then installing JRE 1.7. Seems to be a problem with compatibility with JRE1.8.

Thank you!  That was the problem!  I downgraded to JRE 1.7 and it is working now.
