timeline or milestone diagram using plantuml

Does plat uml supports timeline or milestone diagrams ?

Upvote: I'd like this too - seems like it wouldn't be too tricky a thing as they tend to be quite simple.  It's not far off a sequence diagram that's just horizontal rather than vertical, and with only one line.

I would upvote this too. Right now "mermaid" is the closest and possibly the only solution I know of which works with markdown. I would love to have this through PlantUML.
